Our research activities include:

  • Report writing for HIV, GBV, and mental health.

We conduct household, community and school-based research and evaluations

LIVELIHOODS

Poor and vulnerable adolescents and women have limited options to choose from and thus limited well-being outcomes. Our focus on gender and adolescence defines the following capability domains for adolescents and youth:

  • HIV prevention,

  • gender norms,

  • agency,

  • physical and reproductive health and nutrition,

  • psychosocial well-being, and

  • economic empowerment.

We are part of the Msichana Salama initiative in collaboration with the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) to protect adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) against HIV and IPV by enhancing their livelihood activities. 

WELLNESS 

Wellness activities are conducted through workshops and include:

  • Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence & Mindset Transformation 

  • Violence Against children (VAC) prevention

  • Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Prevention
